How to make helicoil

Helicoil is made of  diamond-section steel wire.   the wire is rolled to helicoil shape looks like a spring. but it is not a spring!

the outer pitches of  helicoil is  fitted into a base inner thread.  and the inner pitches is exact size you want to fix a bolt in.
